Salad Days Program
Salad Days are a healthy alternative to traditional school hot lunch days. The menu is developed in consultation with a Registered Dietitian (RD) and the Public School. The RD and trained volunteers prepare the lunch.

Volunteer Driver Program
Grand Bend Area CHC utilizes the services of volunteer drivers for patients with no other resources to get them to medical appointments. Often patients need to be transported from within the village (either Grand Bend or Hensall) to the medical clinic for a primary care appointment or to attend an Allied Health Service like physio or a program. From time to time patients need to be taken to Exeter or a London Hospital for tests or specialist appointments.
If you think you could help by becoming a volunteer driver, please see Health Services Coordinator, Heather Klopp. She will have you answer a questionnaire, obtain a police check and sign our confidentiality statement and volunteer driver agreement.
