Many of the doctors who work at the Grand Bend Area CHC have been an integral part of the health of Hensall residents for many, many years. In the last decade, with the establishment of the CHC, we have been able to add a Nurse Practitioner, more doctors and Allied Health such as the Diabetes Management Program, Social Workers and Dietitians.
In April 2010 the newly renovated Primary Care Space was opened with funding from the Erie St. Clair LHIN. The increased amount of space gives us the ability to incorporate teaching into the Primary Care activities in Hensall. As in Grand Bend, you may see Nurse Practitioners and Medical Students advancing their knowledge with our staff.
Our original space is now being utilized by the community for foot care, family counseling, etc.
